How River Run Dental changed traditional dentistry

River Run Dental, formerly known as Rusnak Dentistry transformed routine dentistry into a spa-like experience, complete with hot towels, waterfalls, and candles. As they updated the physical environment of their office, they knew their brand needed the same makeover. The company recently contracted the team at Randall Branding in need of a fresh web design that would properly convey their new branding and message to their current and prospective patients. We worked closely with the team at River Run to produce an end product that showcases all they have to offer as a medical services provider.


River Run Dental, formerly known as Rusnak Dentistry, had successfully grown their practice with a knowledgeable staff dedicated to customer service. Dr. Brent Rusnak’s goal was to reform the typical dental experience. He transformed the office into a serene, blissful environment where patients could feel at ease and enjoy spa-like services during their appointments. Investing in a new brand was just as important to them as creating the new physical space. They approached Randall Branding to initiate the rebrand which included naming, developing a unique look and feel for the website, and creating business collateral that would convey River Run Dental’s commitment to their patients.


The new name, River Run Dental, embraces the idea of tranquility and relaxation, mirroring the new spa-like atmosphere. This mood is supported by cool blue and gray tones as well as water features used throughout the office and in other brand elements. To give River Run Dental an overall sense of consistency, we applied these same concepts to their new logo and website. The messaging was also shifted to portray a more calm and sophisticated tone.

River Run Dental revealed their newly renovated office in September 2016 and launched their new brand and visual style soon after. Since the rebrand, they have surpassed their previous monthly records for new patients, grown their staff, and are considering opening more locations in Virginia.
